Come learn the game of baseball and softball with former MLB players, NFL players, Kernel players, and local celebrities. All participants receive a FREE Rawling’s baseball glove, wiffle bat set, autographs, and 2 tickets to the celebrity softball game later that day (6pm). No prior game experience is required. This free instructional camp is open to ages 12 and under. Please only register children attending the camp. Parents are welcome to come and watch the camp, but do not need a ticket. The Celebrity Softball Game will take place at 6pm and feature MLB and NFL players along with local celebrities. There will be fireworks following the game. All proceeds from the celebrity softball game benefit the Jerry Ford Grow the Game Fund which provides free citywide kids baseball leagues in Cedar Rapids.
