Interim Superintendent Dr. Tawana Grover and school board members Nancy Humbles and Marcy Roundtree attended the annual UNI-CUE “thank you” luncheon and forum on Tuesday, May 9th. The forum allowed school and community leaders to share their perspectives on the state of education around the state and how UNI-CUE can continue to meet the needs of future students.

The University of Northern Iowa Center for Urban Education (UNI-CUE) helps a wide range of individuals who may not have considered college an available option for their future with tutorial services, career exploration, exposure to college campuses, student financial assistance, help with college entrance exams, and more.

Also in attendance were UNI Leadership, Waterloo School District leadership, representatives from John Deere, and other community stakeholders.
