Please join us for a community presentation by Jonathan Mooney, a renowned writer, neuro-diversity activist, and author.
Renowned writer, neuro-diversity activist and author Jonathan Mooney vividly, humorously and passionately brings to the wonderful world of neuro-diversity: the research behind it, the people who live in it, and the lessons it has for all of us who care about the future of education, inclusion, equity and belonging. He will share his personal experiences as a dyslexic, ADD, and neuro-diverse student who did not learn to read until he was 12 years old in a presentation filled with humor, knowledge and, most importantly, hope. Explaining the latest theories and research, Jonathan provides concrete examples of how to support neuro-divergent students so they can thrive. This presentation is a call to action to re-think normal and build a more inclusive society for all.
